Details of the Job/Internship

The Phoenix Mills Ltd. is hiring a Senior Manager Legal with experience of 10–15 years to join their office in Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site role involving the provision of legal counsel and support on diverse matters, including real estate agreements, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. The role includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, overseeing litigation case management, maintaining legal records, and advising internal stakeholders on legal risks and strategies. The Senior Manager Legal is expected to ensure compliance with applicable laws, mitigate potential legal risks, and represent the company in legal proceedings where necessary.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and support on real estate agreements, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents.
• Oversee litigation case management and represent the company in legal proceedings, where required.
• Maintain legal records and documentation.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and mitigate potential legal risks.

Eligibility

• LL.B or LL.M degree from a recognised institution.
• At least 10–15 years of relevant legal experience.
• Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, real estate laws, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in litigation management and representation in legal proceedings.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
