Details of the Job/Internship

USV is hiring a Senior Legal Manager – International Business Operations with 8–10 years of experience to manage global legal frameworks.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate international agreements including licensing, product development, service, manufacturing, supply, and distribution contracts.
• Provide strategic legal advice to Business Development, Finance, Sales, HR, and other teams.
• Review and update standard contract templates to align with legal standards and risk mitigation.
• Assist in M&A due diligence, review agreements, and prepare management reports.
• Advise on corporate, procurement, safety, sustainability, and insurance matters.
• Conduct legal compliance audits of manufacturing plants and associated agents.
• Maintain contract management tools and ensure adherence to internal processes.
• Provide SOP training to internal teams on contract protocols.
• Engage with global customers, vendors, and external legal consultants for negotiations and dispute resolution.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university.
• 8–10 years of experience in international legal business operations.
• Membership with a relevant Bar Council is required.
• Strong experience in negotiating complex international agreements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
• Proficiency in contract management software and legal research tools.
• Certifications in International Business Law or IPR are an added advantage.
