Details of the Job/Internship
Tenneco is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal with a minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience to manage litigation, contract, and compliance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage all disputes with external counsel and liaise with government authorities.
- Control litigation costs, external counsel engagement, and standardize protocols.
- Oversee and implement Litigation and Contract Management Tools.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements, and develop standardized templates.
- Monitor and advise on compliance for employment and operational laws.
- Conduct legal research, risk analyses, policy review, and employee training.
- Support asset protection, represent the company in forums, and coordinate new compliance initiatives.
- Lead departmental budgeting and process improvements for legal functions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with minimum 10 years' post-qualification experience in a reputed MNC or large corporate.
- In-depth knowledge of Factory Laws, Pollution Control, Contract, and Labour Laws.
- Strong contract negotiation, leadership, drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
