Details of the Job/Internship

EMMVEE Photovoltaic Power Limited is hiring a Senior Manager Litigation and Compliance with experience in managing legal and compliance matters to join their office in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage all litigation matters and coordinate with external counsel for legal proceedings.
• Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs and industry standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
• Establish robust internal controls to prevent and detect potential compliance violations.
• Monitor legislative changes and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.
• Provide compliance training and guidance to employees across the organisation.
• Investigate and resolve legal complaints and compliance-related issues.
• Review and manage contracts to ensure they align with legal and company policies.
• Prepare and submit all necessary regulatory filings and reports.
• Advise senior management on legal risks and strategic opportunities

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) is required; a Master's degree (LLM) is preferred.
• Professional Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage litigation, draft legal documents, and represent interests in court.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of corporate law, risk management, and internal controls.
• Competencies: Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
