Details of the Job/Internship
EXL is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal (Record Retrieval) with 10+ years of experience to join their team in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client law firms and opposing counsel.
- Conduct legal research and maintain jurisdiction-specific legal repositories.
- Draft and review subpoenas and related legal documents.
- Supervise court filings and coordination with process servers and other vendors.
- Lead a legal team responsible for record retrieval operations and ensure compliance.
- Manage vendor performance and oversee documentation of SOPs.
- Ensure adherence to jurisdictional, client-specific, and regulatory requirements.
- Generate reports on performance, compliance, and vendor activities.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing legal teams and handling U.S. legal processes.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. insurance litigation and subpoena processes.
- Proficiency in legal research tools like Westlaw and Lexis.
- Prior experience with direct client communication and vendor coordination.
- Ability to convert legal research into SOPs.
