Details of the Job/Internship

IGT Solutions is hiring a Manager – Data Protection with 5–8 years of experience to join its Gurugram office. The role is responsible for reviewing, developing, and maintaining global data privacy policies, monitoring data protection trends, and ensuring compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws. The position involves cross-functional collaboration, privacy audits, breach management, and acting as a subject matter expert on data privacy and protection.

Role and Responsibilities

• Own and regularly review global data protection compliance arrangements.
• Develop, update, and maintain global data privacy policies, guidelines, records, and training.
• Advise the organisation on GDPR and other applicable local data protection laws.
• Act as a subject matter expert in developing and implementing data protection plans.
• Liaise with business functions on cross-departmental data privacy matters.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of privacy standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Support client information security audits, questionnaires, proposals, and engagement agreements.
• Assist in investigating privacy and security breaches and related legal or remedial actions.
• Act as a liaison with corporate governance and compliance teams on global data privacy issues.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices related to data privacy.
• Ensure regular compliance audits are conducted and findings are addressed.

Eligibility

• Graduate qualification.
• Postgraduate qualification in Law.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in data protection, data privacy, and audits.
• Experience in managing data privacy issues.
• Strong working knowledge of privacy concepts, principles, and standards, including international data transfers.
• Capability to conduct data privacy compliance reviews and audits.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and Excel skills.
• Strong analytical ability.

Salary/Stipend
