Details of the Job/Internship
IndoSpace is hiring an AVP – Legal (Land Acquisitions) to lead end-to-end legal execution of land acquisition deals across India.
Role and Responsibilities
Transaction Closure & Deal Enablement:
- Lead end-to-end closure of land acquisition transactions.
- Manage negotiations, documentation, and execution independently.
- Drive deal timelines and ensure smooth execution.
Legal Risk Management & Governance:
- Structure transactions to minimize legal and commercial risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable real estate and land laws.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with internal teams (Investment, Finance, Projects).
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, consultants, and counsel.
Documentation & Due Diligence:
- Ensure accuracy and enforceability of all legal documents.
- Oversee due diligence and title verification for land parcels.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LLB/LLM),
- 6–12 years of experience in real estate transactions,
- Strong experience in land acquisition and deal closure.
- Background in real estate-focused law firms or in-house roles.
- Proven ability to independently handle complex transactions.
