Details of the Job/Internship

Herbalife International India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Sr. Officer, Legal – India with 4–7 years of experience to join its team in Bengaluru. The role involves working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance, manage business risks, support distributor events, and strengthen the India legal function as an individual contributor.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents to safeguard the company’s interests.
• Issuing and responding to legal notices involving regulatory authorities and other parties.
• Providing proactive legal support and guidance to cross-functional business teams.
• Reviewing marketing materials, training content, and providing legal support for events.
• Preparing documents for Board and Shareholders’ meetings.
• Ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, FEMA, and timely regulatory filings.
• Supporting statutory audits, dividend payouts, capitalisation of profits, and corporate secretarial matters.

Eligibility

• B.A. LL.B.
• Company Secretary qualification with membership of ICSI.
• 4–7 years of post-qualification experience in a legal role.
• In-depth working knowledge of contract law.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong understanding of consumer protection law, intellectual property, and corporate laws.
• High integrity, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Salary/Stipend
