Details of the Job/Internship
Honeywell is hiring a Sr. Paralegal with 4+ years of patent paralegal experience to join its Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Schedule patent committees, prepare agendas, and maintain invention disclosure notes.
- Send authorized patent filings to outside counsel and track progress.
- Manage foreign filing deadlines, instructions, and communications with counsel.
- Assist with annual review of patent maintenance fees and track savings.
- Develop patent dashboards in IPFolio and generate periodic reports.
- Support patent award and plaque programs.
- Coordinate with outside counsel and IP analytics team on billing and substantive matters.
- Maintain patent files and manage passport numbers for billed matters.
- Track invoices, support billing processes, and prepare delivery metrics.
- Handle additional administrative and reporting tasks as needed.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 4 years of patent paralegal experience.
- Knowledge of global PTO rules and procedures.
- Strong background in patent filing, IP clearances, and analytics.
- Experience with IP management systems (IPFolio, IP Manager, CPA, Anaqua, CPI).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel with Macros.
- Experience in multinational organizations and cross-cultural communication.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
