Details of the Job/Internship
Mitsubishi Power Europe is hiring a Senior Paralegal with experience of 3 years to join their office in London.

Role and Responsibilities
- Support with the drafting, checking and amendmnent of legal documents;
- Liaise with internal and external counsel, with in the UK and across the region;
- Conduct legal research and write concise memoranda to Summarise research results Corporate Governance.
- Board of Directors meeting organisation and document preparation;
- Record-keeping and filing of company information;
- Provision of required documentation for various projects;
- Ensure compliance with new legal requirementsimpacting corporate governance including liaising with relevant departments to agree themost suitable approach.
- Support for Front Offices across EMEA (Branches & Subsidiaries)
- Director appointment and resignation filings in various jurisdictions where the Company'sbranches are located as well as General Manager & legal representative appointment and resignation filings for each Front Ofice;
- Provision of legally required documentation for the operations of Front Offices such as POAs;
- New entity establishment and associated filings as required across the region.
Eligibility
- Proven related experience and/ortraining in Legal & Compliance and a minimumof 3 years as a Paralegal within a large law firmor in-house organisation;
- Demonstrable experience in the power, energy and/or construction sectors would be advantageous;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Displaysa keen interest in the application of relevant legal principles;
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills;
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office;
- Has an enthusiasm and willingness to work as part of a team and demonstrates flexibility with assigned tasks;
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with or without direct supervision and coordinate multiple tasks.
Salary/Stipend
