Kairos is hiring for the position of Senior Patent Attorney to join their office in Senior Patent Attorney to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and file high-quality patent applications (claims, specifications, drawings) across a wide range of technical domains.
- Review and refine patent applications to align with jurisdictional requirements and client goals.
- Respond to office actions and objections from patent offices worldwide with well-structured, persuasive arguments.
- Advise clients on intellectual property strategies, including drafting, filing jurisdictions, and portfolio management.
- Collaborate with inventors, R&D teams, and other stakeholders to understand innovations and business objectives.
- Stay updated on patent laws, regulations, and case precedents in multiple jurisdictions.
- Research emerging technologies in client industries to strengthen patent applications.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior attorneys and manage paralegal teams effectively.
Eligibility
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (required).
- Degree in Law (preferred).
Experience
- Proven experience in patent drafting, prosecution, and related intellectual property services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor paralegal/legal teams.
