Elevate is hiring a Senior Research Analyst with 4+ years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution to join their office in Gurugram. The role involves drafting patent applications, delivering prosecution projects, and mentoring team members in the field of Computer Science and Information and Communication Technologies.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft patent applications for inventions in Computer Science and ICT.
- Deliver prosecution projects and independently formulate response strategies for office actions.
- Draft provisional specifications, complete patent applications, and claim sets conforming to US and EP standards.
- Mentor and guide team members in drafting and prosecution work.
- Apply process knowledge to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering/technology from a reputed institute.
- Excellent domain knowledge in ICT.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution, including at least 2 years in US jurisdiction.
- Experience in drafting 50+ patent applications for the US domain.
- Strong comprehension of technical literature and patent publications.
- Robust understanding of latest and emerging technologies with sound basics.
- Strong analytical, articulation, and persuasive writing skills.
- Knowledge of latest case rulings is an advantage.
