Details of the Job/Internship

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is hiring a Senior Research Associate for the Centre for Child and the Law (CCL) on a full-time basis for one year, based at its Bengaluru campus.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct policy research on food security and child rights.
• Support ongoing research by developing data collection tools and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
• Draft and publish research reports and papers.
• Coordinate with relevant state departments and other stakeholders.
• Develop and ensure quality training modules and programmes.
• Contribute to publications such as peer-reviewed journals and the NLS blog.
• Support other ongoing initiatives of CCL as required.

Eligibility

• Postgraduate degree in Law, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field with at least 55% aggregate marks.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification work experience, including at least 2 years in policy or socio-legal research.
• Prior experience in the social development sector, particularly in food security or child rights, is preferred.

Salary/Stipend

₹75,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month.
