Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs is set up as an autonomous institute which works under the aegis of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to deliver opportunities for research, education, and advocacy. There was a need to develop systems for regulation, enforcement and service delivery. Thus, to build the capacities of people working in the system and to forecast trends and markets in the ever changing business environment through constant interaction with the factors involved. Set up as the premier organisation with an aim of providing astute and credible intellectual leadership in corporate regulation, governance and running sustainable businesses, IICA is a think-tank, capacity building and service delivery institute. 

Details of the Job/Internship

Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs invites applications for the position of Senior Research Associate with 3 years of experience to join them at their office in Gurgaon.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research on SDG, ESG, and CSR linkages.
• Assist in designing and developing state-specific SDG indicators aligned with CSR and ESG contributions.
• Support in conducting pilot studies including survey preparation and data analysis.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders associated with the project.
• Preparation of reports, research papers, conducting research as per different project requirements as and when required.
• Support in organizing stakeholder consultations, workshops, and capacity-building sessions.
• Assist in the preparation of interim and final project reports and presentations for MoSPI and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to content development for policy briefs, newsletters, and knowledge dissemination materials.
• Logistics coordination with vendors and internal departments, and managing financials etc.
• Coordination with different programme partners.
• Developing project / programme proposals for the SoBE
• Preparation of File Notes with proposals on each activity
• End-to-end management of the academic programmes of the School of Business Environment.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Project Director / Head, SoBE for successful completion of the project.

Eligibility

• Master’s Degree in Economics / Business Administration / Commerce / Sustainability / Environment / Statistics / Public Policy / Development Studies / CSR / Law or other relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks.
• Doctorate / M.Phil. in ESG, Sustainability, CSR, Economics, or other relevant field.
• Certified in relevant Sustainability / ESG Standards.
• Minimum three years’ work experience with Academic Institution / Corporate / Think Tank / International Organization in the areas of Sustainability / Responsible Business.
• Prior experience in academic administration and research.
• Experience in organizing conferences / workshops research studies on CSR / responsible business.
• Experience in strategizing and implementing initiatives aligned with SDGs.
• Experience in providing CSR / ESG related consulting.
• Experience in primary and secondary research, data analysis, and report
  writing.

Salary/Stipend

Monthly Consolidated fee (Rs. 1,00,000) P.M
