Pahlé India Foundation (PIF) is hiring a Senior Research Associate to join their office in Itanagar Tehsil, Arunachal Pradesh.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous research and analysis on economic and public policy issues.
- Draft policy briefs, research papers, and analytical reports for publication.
- Identify and evaluate evidence-based policy ideas based on impact and feasibility.
- Assess policy options considering state-level political and administrative realities.
- Analyse datasets and generate actionable policy insights.
- Engage with government departments, policymakers, industry leaders, and academic institutions.
- Organise and participate in policy discussions, roundtables, and conferences.
- Contribute to media outreach, op-eds, and knowledge dissemination initiatives.
Eligibility
- Master’s, MPhil, or Ph.D. in Economics, Public Policy, or related fields from reputed institutions.
- Experience in economic research, public policy, consulting, academia, or think tanks.
- Strong understanding of India’s political economy and governance systems.
- Proven research writing and publication experience.
- Strong analytical and research methodology skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preference for candidates from or familiar with the North-East region.
- Exposure to statistical or econometric techniques is advantageous.
