Details of the Job/Internship
Mindsprint is hiring a Legal Compliance Associate to support its Legal function in managing compliance and operational matters related to the organisation’s Ethical Business programme.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform sanctions screening and escalate risk alerts where required.
- Coordinate with business unit contacts to understand counterparty systems and provide updates to the Legal team.
- Identify new entities created in SAP and upload them to the Ethixbase system for screening.
- Manage invoices from Ethixbase and organise payments.
- Develop processes to check for transactions conducted with unapproved entities.
- Train the MDM team to screen new SAP requests involving entities or persons from sanctioned countries including Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Syria, Myanmar, and Venezuela.
- Assist in developing systemic solutions to simplify sanctions screening processes.
- Support the Legal team in setting up new law firms in the Brightflag legal e-billing system.
- Develop required reports for the Legal function.
- Assist with compliance metrics, bill payments, and website design and maintenance.
