Details of the Job/Internship
D. E. Shaw India Private Limited is hiring a Senior Specialist–Legal IP with experience of 3 to 4 years to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- You will review and negotiate data and software license agreements, subscription agreements, order forms, and other intellectual property-related agreements.
- You will be required to review, draft, and negotiate agreements for goods and services, consulting agreements, event contracts, engagement letters, and non-disclosure agreements with potential counterparties and vendors.
- Additionally, you will also get the opportunity to collaborate with attorneys in other offices of the D.E. Shaw group on various agreements and miscellaneous projects
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- An impressive record of academic achievement along with 3 - 4 years of experience, including experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating licensing, technology, and other commercial contracts.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical ability, outstanding judgment, keen attention to detail, and proven drafting, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred qualification:
- Prior experience in independently handling end-to-end contract lifecycle.
