Mastercard is hiring a Senior Specialist, Legal Services with an LLB degree and relevant experience to join their GBSC Legal Services team in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end contract preparation and execution.
- Conduct triage of contract requests for policy and process compliance.
- Draft and negotiate routine contracts such as NDAs, software licenses, and service agreements.
- Ensure contract compliance with legal and internal standards.
- Collaborate with business clients and legal stakeholders for contract finalization.
- Analyze contract terms to ensure legal and regulatory adherence.
- Deliver high-quality customer service aligned with service-level objectives.
- Contribute to process improvements in contract services.
Eligibility
- LLB degree with relevant legal experience.
- Strong legal and business acumen with problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage tasks with varying priority and complexity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced contract negotiation skills.
- Sound judgment on escalation vs. independent handling of issues.
- Experience or knowledge of legal systems in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America, or the Caribbean (preferred).
- Skills in data analysis and report generation for leadership insights (preferred).
