ThinkWise Consulting LLP is hiring a senior tax manager with 5-10 years of experience to join them in Hyderabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Managing Portfolio companies are in compliance with US (primarily) and international tax laws. This includes preparing, reviewing, and filing federal, state, and local tax regulations, business licenses and any other requirements.
- Coordinate & manage outsourced tax preparation work.
- Prepare & review tax schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain company’s tax database that matches information provided to third party tax experts and reconcile differences.
- Accurately prepare, review & file quarterly and annual tax reports, including estimates.
- Monitor Company’s nexus exposures.
- Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings.
- Working with the controller on asset depreciation schedules and policies.
- Keep up to date with tax changes and industry trends.
- Ensure completeness of documentation regarding entity formation, dissolution, and ownership.
- Maintain accurate and updated Org Charts, including maintenance of Capitalization tables for ownership in portfolio companies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 5 - 10 years’ US Tax experience at a public accounting firm in the tax department. Top 10 firm preferred.
- US CPA (Pursuing) is a mandatory.
- PE VC industry experience a plus.
- Familiar with various tax forms including but not limited to 1065,1120,5471,8858, FBAR etc.
