Easebuzz is hiring a Senior Vice President – Legal with 10+ years of relevant experience to join its Pune office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Corporate Rules Book and manage the annual review process.
- Act as a legal liaison between internal stakeholders and global business units.
- Assist with contract governance and compliance alignment.
- Support board and committee meetings, including preparation and follow-up.
- Collect inputs for litigation, antitrust, and legal reporting.
- Maintain legal registers and internal web pages.
- Support Delegations of Authority, legal training programs, and compliance follow-ups.
- Track audit findings and monitor insurance program status.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to mitigate risks and streamline processes.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited institution (Master’s in Law or Business Administration preferred).
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in legal practice (minimum 2 years in a law firm).
- Strong experience in fintech, payments, regulatory, commercial transactions, data protection, or technology law.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align legal advice with business objectives.
