Details of the Job/Internship
Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited is hiring a Senior/Chief Manager – Legal (Non-Litigation) with 3–5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate legal contracts, agreements, and documents.
- Vet insurance intermediary agreements ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Draft and vet NDAs, addendums, IT agreements, and other standard documents.
- Verify property titles for branches and new site acquisitions.
- Prepare and vet Leave & License/Lease agreements and guide in closures.
- Draft documentation for business transactions and advise on compliance checklists.
- Provide support for notaries, stamp papers, and leases.
- Manage digital contract systems and maintain a documentation repository.
- Safeguard the company’s intellectual property rights.
- Conduct legal research and prepare reports for regulatory compliance.
- Provide legal advice on corporate, data security, privacy, and general laws.
- Monitor compliance frameworks and ensure adherence to laws.
- Coordinate with external law firms and consultants on legal matters.
Eligibility
- Education: LLB/LLM.
- Experience: 3–5 years in contracts management with expertise in resolving complex issues.
- Preferred: Experience in the insurance sector.
