Details of the Job/Internship

Kshetra Consulting is hiring for the position of Socio -Legal Awareness - Fellowship with 0-3 years of experience to join their office in Satara, Maharashtra.

Role and Responsibilities

• Facilitate legal awareness camps with local communities, self-help groups (SHGs), and youth collectives.
• Support and strengthen legal aid mechanisms in collaboration with District Legal Services Authorities (DLSAs).
• Assist beneficiaries—particularly women, informal workers, SC/ST communities, and rural populations—in accessing entitlements under laws such as:
  • Legal Services Authorities Act
  • Domestic Violence Act
  • MGNREGA
  • Forest Rights Act
  • Labour Codes (including migrant workers' rights)
• Develop simplified Marathi-language IEC materials on key legal rights (labour rights, property rights, SC/ST protections, domestic violence, etc.).

Eligibility

Education:

• LLB, BA-LLB, or a Master’s degree in Law, Social Work, Public Policy, or Development Studies.

Experience:

• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Final-year law students with a demonstrated commitment to community engagement are also encouraged to apply.
