Details of the Job/Internship

Haleon is hiring a Specialist – IP (Trademark) with up to 6 years of experience to join its team in the Greater Bengaluru Area.

Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain and update trademark records, deadlines, and portfolio details in the docketing system (ANAQUA preferred).
• Support renewal and recordal activities, including ownership updates and licensing recordals.
• Process incoming trademark correspondence and route actions appropriately.
• Prepare and coordinate routine filings and documentation with IP Offices and external counsel.
• Conduct daily docket reviews and monitor upcoming deadlines and prosecution stages.
• Support drafting of Power of Attorney documents, declarations, and procedural forms.
• Perform quality checks on filings and docket entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in portfolio audits and data-cleaning initiatives.
• Generate customized docket and portfolio reports for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Legal, Marketing, Regulatory, and Commercial teams for trademark information requests.
• Maintain organized documentation within the document management system.
• Support process improvements and standardization within trademark operations.

Eligibility

• Graduate degree in any discipline (mandatory).
• IP-related certifications are advantageous.
• Up to 6 years of experience in trademark operations, docketing, prosecution support, or IP formalities (in-house, IP service provider, or law firm).
• Experience with global trademark workflows, renewals, and recordals.
• Proficiency in ANAQUA or other IP docketing systems.
• Strong understanding of trademark terminology and prosecution stages.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
