Details of the Job/Internship

D. E. Shaw India Private Limited is hiring a Specialist – Legal (Core CR) with 2–3 years of experience to join their Legal and Compliance team in Hyderabad. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements with counterparties and vendors.
• Handle event contracts, engagement letters, and non-disclosure agreements.
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices on agreements and miscellaneous projects.
• Support legal risk identification and resolution across business functions.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• 2–3 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong academic record.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong drafting, communication, and project management skills.
• Preferred: Experience in independently handling end-to-end contract lifecycle management.
