Details of the Job/Internship

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories is looking for a candidate with 8 to 10 years of experience for the position of Specialist Intellectual Property Management 

Role and Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for performing searches in various patent databases, screening relevant patents/applications, and preparing patent landscapes. 
• You will be responsible for preparing the product reports including the Patent landscapes by exploring relevant regulatory databases. 
• You will be responsible for Freedom to Operate Analysis to help in identifying any potential infringement on the intellectual property (IP) rights of another party. 
• You will be responsible for non-infringing analysis and patentability analysis for different geographies like India, the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan, China, and South Korea with respect to the product, polymorph, impurity, process screening, and various exclusivities. 
• You will be assisting the Research and Development team in building polymorph, process, particle size, impurities, and contamination for In-house development projects. 
• You will be responsible for Supporting the Product Selection & Portfolio teams with necessary IP diligence.
• You will be responsible for the Identification of prior arts to support building invalidation grounds for blocking patents/applications. 
• You will be responsible for providing technical support to legal teams during litigation/patent oppositions. 

Eligibility

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Masters in Pharmacology
• Minimum Work Experience: 8 - 10 years of experience in IP, including candidates from Law firms who have worked in the Life Science & Health care sector would be preferable. 

Skills & attributes:

Technical Skills

• Experience in Intellectual Property (IP) domain
• Skilled in infringement/invalidity analysis, freedom to operate, filing and prosecution, and Market launch analysis. 
• Experience in product Identification and selection in perspective of complex Injectables, inhalation, and OSDs in different geographies. 
• Sound knowledge of technologies used in various dosage forms. 
• Experience in due diligence in different geographies US, Europe, Australia, Canada, Japan, India etc
