Details of the Job/Internship

The D. E. Shaw group is hiring a Legal Specialist with 2–3 years of experience to join their Legal and Compliance team in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Handle event contracts, engagement letters, and NDAs.
• Work with attorneys across global offices on diverse legal projects.
• Support various legal and compliance functions within the firm.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• 2–3 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong academic background.
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and project. management skills.
• Prior experience handling end-to-end contract lifecycles (preferred).
