Details of the Job/Internship
Hero Housing Finance is hiring for the position of State Business Legal Head with 5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle all legal aspects related to mortgages, including documentation review and vetting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies in mortgage-related transactions.
- Provide legal support for non-litigation matters, contracts, and operational issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Offer legal insights on documentation, agreements, and risk mitigation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services or credit industry.
- Strong expertise in non-litigation legal work, particularly around mortgages.
- Prior experience in a legal leadership role is preferred.
- Familiarity with credit finance regulations and documentation is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain legal matters to non-legal stakeholders.
