SK Finance Ltd is hiring for the position of State Legal Head - Business Legal with 4-5 years of experience to join their office in Indore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Property Law Expertise: Provide expert guidance on property title chains, mortgage laws, and property documentation, particularly in the LAP and SME lending segment.
- Policy Formulation: Develop and implement region-specific policies related to collateral assessment and legal evaluation processes.
- Cross-Functional Training: Conduct training sessions to educate internal teams on legal protocols, property documentation, and fraud detection.
- Audit Resolutions: Collaborate with the Internal Audit Department to resolve audit findings related to property documentation and legal assessments.
- Fraud Detection and Analysis: Identify potential gaps and assess fraudulent property documents, implementing corrective measures to mitigate risks.
- Collateral Verification: Conduct physical verification visits to authorities for thorough verification of collateral properties.
- Portfolio Hygiene: Maintain legal hygiene across the regional portfolio by monitoring legal compliance and documentation integrity.
Eligibility
- Minimum of 4-5 years of post-qualification legal experience with a focus on property titles and mortgage laws in secured lending, particularly in LAP (SME) and Home Loans.
- LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to strategize and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Proficient in legal operations and emerging legal technologies.
