Details of the Job/Internship
Adab Singh Kapoor & Associates is hiring a Supreme Court Lawyer (Family Law) with 2–5 years of experience to join their office in Saket, Delhi. This is a full-time role involving representation before the Supreme Court and other courts in family law matters, including domestic violence complaints, divorce, maintenance, custody, and civil law matters, along with extensive drafting, legal research, and due diligence work.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients before the Supreme Court and other courts in family law and civil law matters.
- Handle litigation relating to domestic violence complaints, divorce, maintenance, custody, and related proceedings.
- Draft writ petitions, appeals, revision petitions, transfer petitions, complaints, evidence affidavits, civil suits, written statements, replies, replications, rejoinders, written submissions, admission and denial affidavits, and statements of claim.
- Conduct legal research using legal databases such as Manupatra and SCC Online.
- Carry out due diligence and draft or vet legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
Eligibility
- LL.M. degree or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in litigation in Delhi.
- Prior experience and strong interest in family law and civil laws.
- Openness to handling matters across other areas of law simultaneously.
- Strong command over English, communication, and pleading skills.
- Publications in legal journals or websites.
