Fortior Law is hiring a Swiss-qualified Associate to join their office in Geneva.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle diverse legal matters, primarily focusing on Swiss corporate, commercial, and employment law, along with applications for interim measures and the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards/court decisions in Switzerland.
- Handle legal matters of Swiss corporate, commercial, and employment law.
- Manage applications for interim measures.
- Oversee the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards/court decisions in Switzerland.
- Operate autonomously while demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Market the practice by contributing to the firm’s publications, attending industry events and promoting the firm’s profile on social media.
Eligibility
- Swiss Bar Admission: You must be admitted to practice law in a French-speaking Swiss canton, preferably in Geneva.
- Fluency in French and English: proficiency in both languages is essential. Candidates who also speak German will be given priority.
- You must have experience in the following fields: International arbitration, Swiss corporate and commercial law; Applications for interim measures; and Enforcement of foreign arbitral awards/court decisions in Switzerland. Knowledge of legal databases (LexisNexis UK, Westlaw, etc
