Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Mumbai, established under the Maharashtra Act VI of 2014, is one of the premier National Law Universities in India. Hon'ble Justice Bhushan Gavai, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, is the Chancellor of the University, along with Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court as the Pro-Chancellor.
Details of the Conference/Seminar
MNLU Mumbai in association with the Centre for Information Communication Technology and Law, the Centre for Advanced Legal Training and Research, and Daga Legal is organizing a Symposium on ‘AI: Privacy, Security & IPR’. This event will consist of expert talks from Supreme Court Judge, Advocate-General, Counsels, and Partners from top tier law firms, along with paper presentation sessions. It is scheduled to happen on 5th April 2025 at MNLU Mumbai’s campus in Powai, Mumbai.

Submission Guidelines
Abstract Submission Guidelines:
- Theoretical and empirical research papers should pertain to any of the sub themes of the conference.
- An abstract of 250 words should be sent on or before March 20, 2025.
- An Expert Committee will screen all abstracts and accept those that are relevant to the conference themes/sub themes.
- MNLUM maintains the exclusive right to publish accepted papers for presentation.
- Abstract and full research papers should be mail on given Email ID.
Submission Guidelines for Papers:
- The submission should be original, exclusive, unpublished, and not under review by any similar platform.
- Co-authorship up to 2 authors is allowed.
- Submissions are accepted for publication on the condition that they do not infringe upon the rights of any third party. All submissions will be run through anti-plagiarism software. The Editorial Board however permits a maximum similarity index
- of 10% and in no case a submission shall exceed that.
- The word limit for every submission must ideally be limited to 3000-4000 words (inclusive of footnotes).
- Footnotes must be uniformly cited in accordance with 4th Edition of OSCOLA style.
- Speaking footnotes or explanatory parentheticals shall not be considered.
- The paper shall be sent in .doc/.docx format and the name of the document must be the same as the title of the submission.
- Upon acceptance of the submission by the Editorial Board, the copyright over the manuscript shall be transferred to MNLU Mumbai.
Formatting Guidelines
- The title of the chapter must be formatted to Times New Roman, Size 14, 1.5 Line Spacing, in All Caps and in Bold, with ‘Centre’ Alignment.
- The main body of the submission must be formatted to Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 Line Spacing and single line space between paragraphs, with ‘Justify’ Alignment.
- The footnotes of the submission shall be continuous and must be formatted to Times New Roman, Size 10 and 1.0 Line Spacing, with ‘Justify’ Alignment.
