Loganathan Sekar & Co is hiring a Tax Advocate for a full-time, on-site role at its Chennai office. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, representing clients during assessments, and providing tax advisory services.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file tax returns in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Represent clients during tax assessments and proceedings.
- Provide tax advisory services and strategic financial guidance.
- Conduct research on tax laws and identify potential tax savings opportunities.
- Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and internal departments for seamless operations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CA, CMA, or LLB in Taxation are preferred.
- Proficiency in taxation, accounting, and auditing processes.
- Understanding of tax laws, regulatory compliance, and legal research.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client interaction skills.
- Competency in using tax software, financial tools, and related technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a taxation or legal role is an advantage.
