Details of the Job/Internship

Trilegal is hiring a Tax Lawyer with 1-2 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise clients on matters related to direct and corporate taxation, including compliance and planning
• Draft detailed legal opinions, representations, and appellate documents
• Conduct tax due diligence for M&A and other corporate transactions
• Assist in structuring transactions in a tax-efficient and compliant manner
• Monitor and analyze legal developments, judicial precedents, and changes in tax regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver holistic client solutions

Eligibility

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and Lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in tax practice at a reputed law firm or Big 4 consulting firm.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, including Income Tax, International Taxation, and Transfer Pricing.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and research skills.
• High degree of integrity, commitment, and team orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic, client-facing environment.
