Details of the Job/Internship
Gargieyas is hiring a Tax Litigation Associate with having PQE of 1-3 Years in Litigation to join their office in Jaipur. As a Tax Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as researching tax laws and regulations, representing clients at motions, depositions, and court proceedings, and providing legal advice to clients on tax-related matters. You will work closely with senior attorneys and clients to provide high-quality, effective representation in tax litigation matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
- Prepare and draft legal documents.
- Conduct research and analysis of legal problems.
- Communicate with clients, judges, and others involved in the case.
Eligibility
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in conducting thorough research using platforms such as Taxman.com, CurrentTaxOnline.com, TaxSutra.com, and Manupatra.com
- Chartered Accountant/LLB
