Wahed is hiring a Global Tax Manager with experience of 2–3 years to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple countries.
- Ensure timely filing of corporate tax, VAT, and statutory returns.
- Review tax computations and documentation prepared by consultants.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and manage deliverables.
- Standardize tax reporting and documentation processes.
- Monitor tax law changes and assess business impact.
- Manage corporate tax, deferred tax, and transfer pricing matters.
- Ensure VAT/GST compliance, reconciliations, and audit readiness.
- Establish internal tax controls and manage tax risks.
- Support audits and maintain compliance documentation.
- Provide tax advisory on cross-border transactions and business initiatives.
Eligibility
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in taxation.
- Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax frameworks.
- Experience working with multiple jurisdictions and external advisors.
- Familiarity with UK tax systems is preferred.
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments is a plus.
