SM Legal Advocates & Solicitors is hiring a Taxation Associate with experience of 0 to 2 years to join their office in Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
The Associate will be responsible for tasks related to Indirect tax (GST, Foreign Trade Policy, Customs, Service tax, Excise, VAT) litigation & advisory services, such as:
- Handle IDT litigation and advisory matters.
- Drafting of replies, appeals, writ petitions, etc.
- Assistance in hearings before various authorities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law (Must)
- 0 to 2 years of experience, preferably in tax litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
