Details of the Job/Internship

SM Legal Advocates & Solicitors is hiring a Taxation Associate with experience of 0 to 2 years to join their office in Kolkata.

Role and Responsibilities

• The Associate will be responsible for tasks related toIndirect tax (GST, Foreign Trade Policy, Customs,Service tax, Excise, VAT) litigation & advisory services.
• Handle IDT litigation and advisory matters.
• Drafting of replies, appeals, writ petitions, etc.
• Assistance in hearings before various authorities.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• 0 to 2 years of experience, preferably in tax litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
