Details of the Job/Internship
Cipla is hiring a Team Member - Legal with experience of 2 to 6 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize commercial agreements including Confidentiality, Leave and License, and Service Agreements.
- Consult with business teams to prepare employment agreements and other legal documentations within strict timelines.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely execution of contracts.
- Support Team Leads in structuring documentation for complex deals such as supply-distribution and licensing arrangements.
- Assist the Reporting Manager in identifying legal and commercial risks and suggesting appropriate mitigation measures.
- Collate information and documents to provide day-to-day advisory and legal opinions to various business units.
- Interpret contract documents accurately and prepare justifications for existing obligations or necessary revisions.
- Undertake research on applicable laws and legislative changes within the global pharmaceutical industry.
- Maintain and update digital platforms for contract, litigation, and notice management.
- Prepare project decks and reports after examining documents provided by internal and external stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Education Qualification: LLB from a recognized university.
- 2 to 6 years of total legal experience, preferably in a corporate or pharmaceutical setting.
- Proven ability to independently handle end-to-end management of basic commercial contracts.
- Strong understanding of legal and commercial risks associated with complex business deals.
- Excellent coordination and interaction skills for dealing with business teams and external counsels.
- Proficiency in legal research and maintaining digital data management systems.
