Details of the Job/Internship

Sun Pharma is hiring a Senior Executive / Manager – Legal & Compliance with 4–8 years of post-qualification experience to join their Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Plan and manage assigned legal functional responsibilities.
• Review, interpret, and advise on laws, rulings, policies, ethics, and compliance.
• Counsel business teams on legal, compliance, pharma legal, regulatory, and liability matters.
• Draft, review, and vet contracts and agreements (M&A, Business Development, Consumer Healthcare, Sourcing, Licensing, Distribution, Global API, Quality, etc.).
• Negotiate and close commercial documents for transactions.
• Support acquisitions, investments, divestments, and licensing through full transaction cycles.
• Conduct legal due diligence and collaborate with global teams for optimal outcomes.
• Provide legal advice to Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs, HR, IT, and other departments.
• Support litigation and dispute resolution management, ensuring effective representation.
• Advise on promotion, marketing laws, and applicable industry codes.
• Contribute to corporate legal and compliance team policies, training, process streamlining, and best practices.

Eligibility

• LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized university.
• 4–8 years of post-qualification legal experience (in-house or law firm).
• Experience in Pharma / FMCG sector is an added advantage.
