DCM Shriram Chemicals is hiring a Team Member - Legal with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Bharuch, Gujarat. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and MoUs. Ensure all documentation is executed through the company's contract management system.
• Litigation & Legal Proceedings: Initiate and oversee legal action on matters including revenue, land and property, factory laws, environmental issues, IPR, and taxation.
• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations; respond to show cause notices and other legal communications.
• Legal Advisory: Provide proactive legal guidance to business units and senior management on company operations and new projects.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Represent the company before regulatory bodies, quasi-judicial authorities, and government departments as required.
• External Counsel Coordination: Work closely with outside legal advisors and counsel on complex matters.
• Project Support: Assist in due diligence, legal risk assessment, and contract negotiations for new initiatives and projects.
• Additional Responsibilities: Support other legal assignments and cross-functional initiatives as required by the company.

Eligibility

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); Master's or additional certifications preferred.
• Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in corporate legal affairs including contracts, litigation, compliance, and advisory roles.
