Details of the Job/Internship

Corum Group Ltd. is hiring a Tech M&A Counsel / General Counsel with experience of 10+ years to join their M&A team in a remote contract role for the APAC region. The role involves assisting in global merger engagements and working closely with pre-sales and post-engagement teams. The candidate will handle M&A transactions, review and draft contracts, oversee due diligence, and manage related litigation matters. The position also includes delivering presentations and contributing to education, thought leadership, and transactional processes. The role requires working in a team environment with former CEOs and highly educated professionals on multiple global engagements simultaneously.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in global merger engagements.
• Review and draft contracts.
• Oversee due diligence processes.
• Handle litigation related to transactions.
• Deliver presentations.
• Work with pre-sales and post-engagement teams.
• Collaborate with entrepreneurs and internal team members on multiple global engagements.

Eligibility

• 10+ years of experience as a practising attorney.
• Substantial legal knowledge and experience in intellectual property, contracts, technology M&A, and related litigation.
• Prior experience in M&A transactions, contract review and drafting, due diligence, and litigation.
• Background in the software and high-tech market.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, strategic thinking, and ability to multitask.
• Excellent written and presentation skills.

Salary/Stipend
