Details of the Job/Internship
Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Techno Legal Assistant (Intellectual Property Associate) with 2–5 years of experience to join their office in PAN India locations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct prior art searches using both paid and free databases.
- Collaborate with technical teams to assess IP risks and opportunities associated with new products.
- Perform Freedom to Operate (FTO) analysis for various products and platforms.
- Prepare responses for First Examination Reports (FER) during patent prosecution.
- Draft Information Disclosure Forms (IDF) by collaborating directly with inventors.
- Review and draft commercial agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Review data privacy documents and Gen AI use case frameworks.
Eligibility
- Graduation degree in a technical field (B.Tech or B.Sc.) combined with an LLB.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Intellectual Property (IP) and legal affairs.
- Proficiency in patent drafting and prior art search analysis.
- Strong understanding of contract management and data privacy regulations.
- Knowledge of legal issues surrounding Gen AI use cases.
