Details of the Job/Internship
S. MAJUMDAR & CO. is hiring a Trade Marks Attorney with experience of 3+ years to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage trade mark prosecution and various contentious legal matters.
- Advise clients on trademark adoption and conduct comprehensive clearance searches.
- Draft precise and effective responses to office actions issued by the Registry.
- Represent clients in show cause and opposition hearings before the Trade Marks Registry, Delhi.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and perform strategic analysis for complex cases.
- Collaborate with multi-city teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Take ownership of case files and contribute to long-term litigation strategies.
Eligibility
- 3–5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in trade mark matters.
- Mandatory enrolment with a State Bar Council (must provide Enrolment ID and AIBE status).
- Proven experience in registry hearings is highly preferred.
- Excellent command over written and spoken English.
- High level of technical proficiency and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated long-term commitment to the field of Intellectual Property law.
- Strong computer literacy as required by the job poster.
