Details of the Job/Internship

S. Majumdar & Co. is hiring a Trade Marks Attorney with 5–6 years of post-qualification experience to join its Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handling trademark filing, prosecution, opposition, and enforcement matters.
• Advising clients on trademark strategy and conducting clearance searches.
• Managing trademark portfolios and addressing domain name and IP-related issues.
• Attending show cause and opposition hearings before the Trade Marks Registry.
• Drafting responses to office actions and conducting legal research.
• Assisting in IP litigation and contentious trademark matters.

Eligibility

• Law degree with Bar Council enrolment and AIBE qualification.
• 5–6 years of post-qualification experience in trademark matters.
• Strong expertise in Trademark Law and related legal frameworks.
• Experience in hearings, oppositions, and IP litigation is preferred.
• Good drafting, research, communication, and organizational skills.
