Details of the Job/Internship
Save Your IP is hiring a Trademark Agent/Lawyer with relevant intellectual property experience to join their team in a part-time, remote capacity.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive trademark searches and prepare/file trademark applications.
- Provide legal services and guidance regarding trademark registration, management, and enforcement.
- Draft and submit necessary legal documents related to intellectual property matters.
- Represent clients in various trademark-related legal proceedings and disputes.
- Manage intellectual property portfolios while providing strategic legal advice to a diverse client base.
Eligibility
- Hold a valid registration as a Trademark Agent or be a qualified Lawyer.
- In-depth knowledge of trademark law, intellectual property laws, and related legal frameworks.
- Proven experience in trademark registration, filing, and enforcement processes.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting intellectual property-related legal documents.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and client management abilities.
- Proficiency with legal software and tools is considered an advantage.
