Novo Nordisk is hiring a Trademark Analyst for their Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- As a Trademark Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive trademark clearance searches and assessments independently.Handle prosecution for Novo Nordisk’s trademark applications in India and Rest of the World (RoW) countries.
- Provide IP support for the maintenance of Novo Nordisk’s trademarks, including database management.
- Monitor third-party trademark publications and support IT trademark management systems.
- Manage domain name filings and maintenance.
Eligibility
- Experience in conducting trademark searches using tools like Corsearch and Serion.
- Proficiency in trademark databases such as TMview and WIPO Global Brand Database.
- Knowledge of IP evaluations related to trademarks, including registrability and infringement analysis.
- Experience in managing trademark prosecution, including drafting office action responses and notices of opposition.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any field; LLB/LLM (Diploma/Specialisation in Trademarks) is an advantage.
- Certification as a Trademark Agent in India is an added advantage.
- Understanding of trademark law and practice in relevant jurisdictions, including India and major international markets.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to support local or global in-house projects as needed.
- Knowledge of international trademark law and registration systems.
