Details of the Job/Internship
K&S Partners is hiring an Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join its Trademark Team at the Gurgaon office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise clients on India’s trademark registration procedures.
- Conduct availability searches and prepare advisory reports.
- Draft and file trademark applications and replies to examination reports.
- Attend hearings before the Trademark Registry (in person or virtually).
- Draft and file notices of opposition, counterstatements, and evidentiary documents.
- Liaise with Registry officials for follow-ups and compliance.
- Manage client portfolios, maintain records, and update clients on application status.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university with interest or specialization in Intellectual Property Law.
- 2–3 years of experience in trademark prosecution or related IP work.
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with IP India e-filing portals.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
