Details of the Job/Internship
Obhan Mason is hiring a Trademark Associate with experience of 0–2 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end trademark prosecution, including filing and responding to office actions.
- Conduct comprehensive trademark searches and provide risk assessment reports for brand protection.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing IP-related agreements and legal notices.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their branding strategies and provide legal safeguards.
- Support the firm in trademark opposition and rectification proceedings.
- Track and monitor global brand infringements and suggest enforcement actions.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of the firm's trademark portfolio.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- 0–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Intellectual Property law.
- Demonstrated passion for brand protection and trademark management.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively from the firm's office in Bengaluru.
- Proactive attitude with a keen interest in learning the nuances of IP practice.
