Details of the Job/Internship
CENTRiiK is hiring a Trademark Attorney with 4–5 years of experience in trademark prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management to join their office in Noida Sector 63.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive trademark searches and provide legal opinions on registrability and risk assessments.
- Manage domestic and international trademark portfolios, including filing, prosecution, and maintenance.
- Handle oppositions, cancellations, and enforcement actions before IP offices and tribunals.
- Draft and negotiate coexistence agreements, licenses, and settlement agreements.
- Advise clients on brand strategy, infringement issues, and IP portfolio development.
- Collaborate with external counsel and manage client communications.
- Stay updated on changes in trademark laws and regulations.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in trademark law, preferably in a law firm or corporate IP department.
- Strong knowledge of trademark prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management.
- Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with international trademark filings (Madrid Protocol) preferred.
- Familiarity with copyright and domain name disputes.
- Proficiency in IP docketing and management software.
