Details of the Job/Internship
Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants is hiring a Trademark Coordinator with experience of 1 to 3 years to join their office in Dubai.
As a Trademark Coordinator at Galadari, you will play a key role in supporting the trademark and intellectual property portfolio. You will work closely with the legal team to ensure timely and accurate filing, prosecution, and maintenance of trademark applications and registrations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for IP and a strong eye for detail to grow within a collaborative legal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and filing of trademark applications in domestic and international jurisdictions.
- Monitor and track deadlines for trademark renewals, filings, and responses to office actions.
- Support the preparation of trademark-related documents.
- Submit applications to the Ministry of Economy trademark and design portals.
- Conduct trademark searches and provide detailed reports on search results.
- Assist in managing the trademark portfolio, including maintaining accurate records of trademark registrations, renewals, and licenses.
- Communicate with foreign agents in other jurisdictions.
- Review and prepare reports promptly.
- Help prepare and maintain trademark-related reports.
- Provide general administrative support to the Trademark lawyers.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in trademark or intellectual property support, ideally in a corporate or law firm environment.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work.
- Familiarity with trademark filing on the Ministry of Economy portal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and record-keeping.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- IP experience (preferred but not essential)
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred Arabic/English fluency
